Seems an unemployed Miami Herald writer got lured into writing for Demand Media by their visions of laptops on Tiki bars .
The problem is, DM only pays $3 per story. That's right. Less than it costs to cross a Manhattan bridge.
Maybe they meant a different kind of lap top?
