Forget digital. It's a tidal wave!
That nerve center for news, Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism
just launched the Tow Center for Digital Journalism.
Until now, this media mecca divided itself between four specialties --
newspaper, magazine, broadcast and what until recently seemed like a sleepy fringe called "new media."
But with "new media" AKA "digital journalism" bogarting every media field, this school founded by Joseph Pulitzer of Pulitzer-prize fame just opened the dam for the next tidal wave in communications.
Lucky we got a (one week blogging) head start...
